In May, the warm wind accompanies you, the green grass emerges. The sky is blue with white clouds. We see the arched entrances in the beautiful buildings. In the center of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration area, Haileybury International School was founded. At 14:30 in the afternoon of May 15, the Establishment Ceremony – a great celebration, was held in the school theatre. Present at the ceremony were the representatives of the local governments, the heads of the local education bureau, cooperatives, sister schools, friends from media and many parents who were also at school for parent’s meeting.
教育局领导、学校校长、首创负责人等先后发言，对我校的办学给予了高度的评价，我校的办学是中西方教育理念碰撞与融合的一次具体实践，诸位领导在讲话中都表现出对学校的期望与未来的信心。我校师生也向各位来宾展现了自己的风采，小学部的扇子舞展示了未来的活力，古筝与舞体现出中国传统文化的优美，合唱团的《We are Haileybury》表达了学生在拥抱和期待国际教育的心声。
The head of the local education bureau, school principals and the head of BCL gave speeches at the ceremony. They spoke highly of our school. Haileybury is a unique practice of the combination of traditional and western teaching philosophies. They all expressed their great expectations to our school. The Fan Kongfu dancing by elementary pupils brought us power and energy. The performance of Guzhong and Dance demonstrated to us the classical beauty of Chinese art. ‘We are Haileybury” by school choir expressed the real feeling of the students in the international education.
下午16：00，嘉宾剪彩，标志着我校二期工程的结束，宣告黑利伯瑞国际学校的正式落成。
With guests cutting the ribbon on stage, the celebration came to its end.
